Björkebo : the camping with the personal service

Along the banks of the Klarälven, next to road 62 between Ekshärad and Stöllet lies the threestar camping Björkebo.  It is situated in the tiny village of Gravol which lies 10 km south of Värnäs, the crossing of roads 62 and 45.

Björkebo is a well cared for camping with large areas for all kinds of sport and games.  Among others there is small minigolf course, a sandbox for jeu des boules and an area a for the Swedish summergame of 'kubb'.  Minigolf costs 10 crowns each and you can borrow the equipment for jeu des boules and kubb for free at the reception.

Furthermore there are numerous possibilities for fishing, canoeing and hiking.  A fishing license, which is not only valid for the Klarälven but for the entire area, can be bought at the reception. There you can also obtain tips about the hiding place of the legendary, large and ancient pike. 

You can rent canoes and, if you wish, be brought upstream so you can then slowly drift down back towards the camping, while you are enjoying the magnificent Värmlandish nature all around you. There are also several hiking trails, one of which takes you to the old Gravolssäter, where you can spend the night in the surroundings of centuries past, among the silent nature.

In the servicebuildings on the camping you'll find showers, toilets and laundry facilities, among which laundry machines and driers.  If you want, you can book time at the reception for a refreshing rest in the sauna.
